Slim Body Minute Transcription
Hey again, everyone. This is your Slim Body Coach, Josh Bezoni, and I’m calling wide-awake at 1:38 in the morning. I’m still up working and first I want to start off this week’s Slim Body Minute with letting you know who won last week’s Slim Body Minute question and $50.00 worth of GNS products. Her name is Peggs, her screen name is “Peggs,” and she responded to the question, “What is your powerful reason for wanting to lose weight?” that I asked last week and she responded with this, and I’ll go ahead and read it. She says, “My most powerful reason is life. I want to live. I’m not living by being overweight. I don’t move very good and I can’t keep up with my 2-year-old. Things just aren’t the way they should be. I’m so tired of people saying to me ‘you would be so pretty if you just lost the weight,’ or ‘you have such a pretty face’. I am me and right now I am fat. At 5 foot and 430 pounds that’s not living, that’s dying. Lord, there’s hope for me. It’s not over until I say it is over and I say I’ll keep on going.” Now that’s from “Peggs” and we are contacting her for randomly winning $50.00 for replying to last week’s question. So I congratulate her and that’s a very powerful statement that she said.
This week’s Slim Body Minute I want to talk about another very important topic, and that is goal setting. In life I found that the most successful people I’ve ever run across--and not just financially--I’m talking about people that have great families, people that really make a difference in their communities, really good people, are all goal setters. They all have something they want to achieve and they set a goal to do so and their goal is specific and it has a deadline and these people get a lot done in a day and they get a lot done in a month and they get a lot done in a lifetime. They’re just overachievers and they seem to be really happy people. And so when it comes to weight loss, most people make a huge mistake in that they don’t set goals. They just kind of wing it and they have no idea how much weight they really want to lose or when they want to lose this weight by.
So for me, for example, recently I talked about in an email I sent out that I went back to Iowa. I’m originally from Iowa, and my mother was there making home-cooked food. She shows her love by cooking food. No matter how much I talk to her and ask her not to, she makes tons of home cooked food that is amazing and so I rarely get to eat it, so I took a week off of my program and I went back to Iowa and ate all kinds of food every day for a week and I gained five pounds. Now, that’s not good, as you can imagine.
So now that I’m back in Colorado my goal is to lose the five pounds that I gained within eight days, so by July 4, I want to lose the five pounds that I gained and be back at my ideal weight that I work so hard to stay at. That’s my goal. Lose five pounds by July 4. It’s a specific weight by a specific deadline. Now I ask everybody to do the same thing. This week if you go to my journal below, or my forum and reply to the question, “What is your specific weight loss goal?” with how much weight you want to lose and what date you want to lose it by, then you will be put into a random drawing for $50.00 in GNS supplements. So I encourage you to do that--it’s really important--and once you get that goal written down on our website, make sure to write that down somewhere where you can read it out loud with passion every day. Don’t forget about it, don’t put it somewhere you’re not gonna look at it. I suggest taping it up on your mirror where you get ready every day and at night where you brush your teeth, and read it out loud twice a day at least so you know what your goal is, and after you establish your goal, I want you to do something else. I want you to write down how you’re going to achieve that goal. Now I know how I’m gonna lose the weight this week-- five pounds by July 4--and I encourage you to come along with me for the ride, and you know, lose weight with me. Maybe you want to try to lose five pounds before July 8. It’s going to be quite an undertaking and you can follow along in my journal. I’m going to document each and every day exactly what I’m eating, exactly what exercises I’m doing, exactly what supplements I’m taking. My primary supplement that I always have success with is SlimPath Burn, which I’ll talk about more below, but that’s what I want you to do this week. That’s your assignment and it’s really, really important. Once you establish a goal your mind locks in on that and in all kinds of subconscious ways it helps you to start attaining these goals.
So with that in mind, that’s your Slim Body Minute--way past 1:30 in the morning now--and it’s time for me to get to bed so get that done.
